CBRC20 emerged from a collective vision to bring creativity and community utility to Bitcoin. While Ethereum and other chains had long supported token creation and meme economies, Bitcoin lacked a structured, secure way to do the same without compromising its core stability. The CBRC20 team set out to change that by building a token standard that could merge Bitcoin’s unmatched security with the playfulness and innovation of meme culture.

To make this possible, CBRC20 partnered with Ment Tech Labs to design a scalable framework for token creation, trading, and governance on Bitcoin. Together, we developed tools that allow communities to launch, trade, and manage tokens directly within the Bitcoin network while staying true to its decentralized foundation.

Building CBRC20 meant working within Bitcoin’s strict limits while introducing a new layer of flexibility for creators and communities. Ment Tech Labs approached the challenge with one goal: to make token creation on Bitcoin as easy and reliable as ERC20 on Ethereum, without compromising decentralization or security.
