Proof of coverage verifies that a hardware operator is actually providing the service they claim. For wireless networks, nearby devices send and receive radio frequency challenges to confirm real coverage exists. The results are recorded on-chain. Only operators who pass the challenge earn rewards. This stops people from faking coverage to earn tokens.
We use multiple layers of protection. Hardware attestation using TPM and TEE verifies that a real physical device is behind each node. Operators must stake tokens to participate. If they cheat or provide false data, their stake gets slashed. Combining hardware verification with financial stakes makes running fake nodes too costly to be worth it.
We start by modeling how operators will behave under different reward structures. We design emission schedules, coverage multipliers, quality bonuses, and anti-gaming rules. We then run economic simulations to stress test the model under different growth scenarios. The goal is a token economy that attracts operators early, sustains growth over time, and does not collapse when token prices move.
IoT oracles are the bridge between physical hardware and the blockchain. A sensor collects real-world data like temperature, location, or energy output. The oracle pipeline validates that data, checks it against multiple sources, and rejects outliers. Once verified, the data triggers an on-chain reward contract. We use Chainlink, custom oracle builds, and trusted execution environments depending on the level of trust your network requires.
